You tell Karl about a documentary in which plants are reading the minds of people. It is a mistake. Although he has nothing against making his research accessible to the public, he deeply despises such sensationalist bullshit. He has spent his life listening to animals without ever expecting entertainment! Neither does he aim to provide entertainment for others. For him, animals are not a great source of gossip - they are, however, a great source of data.

There is some sort of art exhibition in one of the rooms of the building, next to where the stuffed animals are. He recommends you to see it. This is his way of dismissing you. He has nothing more to tell you. It is time to leave his office.
